SEPTR - Syndicat des Entreprises de Petits Trains Touristiques Routiers (Union of Small Tourist Trains Companies)

SEPTR has been in existence since 1995 and is the historic union of the profession. It is a member of the FNTV: Fédération Nationale des Transports de Voyageurs (National Federation of Passenger Transport).

SNPTRT - Syndicat National des Petits Trains Routiers Touristiques (National Union of Small Tourist Road Trains)

The SNPTRT was founded in 2010 as an association, before evolving into a trade union in 2018. Its founders are former members of SEPTR, which does not wish to join the FNTV.
